Locates and recovers accidentally deleted files
Undelete Navigator allows you to find and undelete your accidentally lost or intentionally deleted files from all your internal and external hard disks, USB flash sticks and SD memory cards.
Portable and Regular Installs
When installing the software you can optionally install it to a portable device (external hard drive, flash disk etc) and use it on virtually any PC without additional install.
Supports FAT, FAT32 and NTFS file systems
NTFS file system is the mostly wide used on both internal and external hard drives on modern Windows line operating systems (XP, Vista, 7, 2003 and 2008 servers etc)
FAT / FAT32 comes from earlier Windows OSes (Windows 95, 98) and these days is widely used to format USB flash disks and SD memory cards.
Builds a folder tree to explore deleted files and folders
Once a drive is scanned for deleted files you will be presented a folder tree and file list views. The folder tree presents all the folders found on the drive that contain deleted data. The file list view presents the deleted files in the currently chosen folder.
Detailed and Iconic views for deleted files
Items in the file list view may be presented in two different ways: you can see file details with file size and modification time or you can see the file icons. Switch between the views with the corresponding toolbar buttons.
Shows thumbnails of deleted images
The software is capable of generating thumbnails for a large variety of image formats. A generated thumbnail in most cases proves integrity of a deleted image file.
Searches for specific files among the detected deleted files
The amount of deleted files found on a drive in some cases may be really large. When you search for a specific file or file types use the search capability to filter out the files you are actually looking for.
Tested on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8
We have thoroughly tested the software on Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Window 8. The software may be used on both 32 bit and 64 bit operating systems.
